The issue of cannabis use is controversial to say the least.

During the latter part of the last century, HRT was advocated for both menopausal symptom relief and chronic disease prevention. This followed publications of several observational studies suggesting a decrease in the incidence of CVD, osteoporosis and dementia. However, 2 influential studies, including the Women's Health Initiative in 2002 reported on the risks and benefits associated with the use of HRT, and were associated with a significant reduction in woman's use of HRT in the UK.

In this eLearning programme we discuss the diagnosis and management of common fungal infections with Dr Michael Boffa. We also explore common pitfalls in the management of these common skin conditions.

NICE recommends Roche Diagnostic’s blood test to help rule-out pre-eclampsia in women between their 20th and 35th week of pregnancy. This blood test is more specifically known as the Elecsys immunoassay sFIt-1/PIGF ratio (Roche Diagnostics).
